El mal
El mal es algo aborrecible y condenable, pero necesario. En la teología hyper-calvinista se podría decir que Dios al mismo tiempo que necesariamente produce el mal, sin embargo lo aborrece y odia. En teologías cristianas católicas o protestantes-arminianas el mal es producto de la libre voluntad del hombre. Pero con ello Dios pierde su omnipotencia: es impotente ante el mal.
